simpler for you by getting it to you within our pages, so that you need not take the
trouble to go out.
However, there are a few simple things you must do, with just clicks of
YOUR COMPUTER MOUSE. Follow the instructions carefully...
1. Download the KALKI TAMIL TYPE FACE
here. Upon download, the typeface may be found in the C:\Windows\Temporary Internet Files
directory of your hard drive
If you are running Windows 3.0 or any 3.x versions,
copy Kalki.ttf to C:\Windows\System directory.
If you are running Windows 4.0 or higher, copy
Kalki.ttf to C:\Windows\Fonts.
4. If you are running
MS Internet Explorer, click the Refresh icon or click F5 or
click View/Refresh on your Menu Bar on top, the page should reload.
5. If the page still appears with junk characters,
click View/Internet Options/Delete Files; then click the button that says Clear History.
Then reload to view page.
6. Still junk characters, then go to View/Internet Options/Fonts, choose the option User Defined from the
Font options on top; then move down to the Box that says Proportional Fonts, choose Kalki
from the Scroll down List. Click OK. Reload the Page using step 4 above. All the best!
7. If you are running Netscape browser, Click
Edit/Preferences/Advanced.... Click on the + symbol before the Advanced, choose Cache
from the options that appear. Click the buttons Clear Memory Cache and Clear
Disk Cache. Click OK, close the box, Click the RELOAD icon on the browser. You must be
able to read the Tamil characters. Lots of luck.
